Hello and welcome to my website...

My name is Carly Reagon and I am an author, editor and writing coach.

So far, I have published three novels, The Toll House (2022), Hear Him Calling (2024), and The Infirmary (2025) with a fourth novel out in 2026. All four books are published by Sphere, an imprint of Little, Brown UK.

I have a PhD in English/Creative Writing, have topped the Amazon book charts several times, have been reviewed by The Observer, Woman’s Own and Prima magazine, and was a shortlistee for the prestigious Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize. My debut novel, The Toll House, was a Welsh Waterstones book of the month.

I have written stories ever since I was a child and love nothing better that a full day reading, writing and editing. I also love helping aspiring authors to achieve their dreams and navigate the often tricky road to publication – I am always willing to chat about potential mentoring and/or editing, just drop me a line via my Contact page.

As well as being an author, I am a senior lecturer in higher education and mum to three children. We live with our two greyhounds in South Wales, UK.
